Barnabás Ambrus

��s journey and helped introduce him to a national film audience. On stage, he played the lead role of Danny Zuko in the Hungarian production of Grease (the musical). This was a landmark casting: at a young age he commanded the lead in a major youth-theatre adaptation and was praised for his energy, singing and charismatic presence. He also starred in the theatre adaptation of It Happened in Europe, the classic Hungarian children’s musical; in the production of Holdbeli csónakos; and in the youth-division staging of Fame - all produced by the respected company SziluArt. His ability to switch between dramatic theatre, high-energy musicals, and film work quickly made Barnabás recognised as a leading young performer in Hungary’s musical-theatre world. Critics and colleagues began to refer to him as “the voice of his generation” - not only for his vocal talent but for his industry awareness, stage discipline and emotional maturity beyond his years.

Barnabás is known for his clear, strong singing voice (capable of both pop-musical belt and more delicate lyrical work), his strong stage presence, and his willingness to work hard. In rehearsals he reportedly engages with lighting, blocking and sound cues - showing a broader interest in production beyond the performance itself. He is also described as humble, grounded and committed to maintaining his education alongside his growing career.

Though still very young, Barnabás already carries the aura of a future star in Hungarian musical theatre and film. His major roles in both stage musicals and a breakout film suggest he is paving the way for a sustained career.
